To make it easier to decide on and plan for your attendance at Granada 2008, seasoned SIETAR members, some from local SIETARs and others from areas were no SIETAR yet exists, have volunteered to serve as informal, nearby sources of information and networking. Should you wish to volunteer to do this as well, please let us know.

Public Relations

Sabine Amend, SIETAR Europa member, founded Kultur & Management in 1998. An intercutural trainer and consultant working from the USA and Germany, she will assist you with what you need to present, market and enroll others in the congress process.
Adrienne Piersol is serving as an intern with Sabine Amend and will be available to provide you with resources from that office.

Marketing

Maria Jicheva, past president of SIETAR Europa and member of its governing board. She is an international consultant and trainer with Coghill-Beery in London where she lives with her family.
Elio Vera, representes the direct members of SIETAR Europa on its governing board, where he also chairs the external communications committee.One of the organizers of SIETAR Italia, he is Director of the Centro Esperienze e Studi di Management. He lives in Milan.
Rita Wuebbeler, M.A. owner of Interglobe Cross-Cultural Business Services, Inc., an Atlanta-based cross-cultural training and consulting firm. A dual US-German national, Rita specializes in global business skills training, relocation training and teambuilding programs for global virtual teams serving clients in the for-profit and non-profit sectors in the U.S. and Europe.

International Networking Liason

Melissa Lamson, co-founder and partner in Diversity Works, supplier of diversity, intercultural and anti-discrimination consulting and training will be promoting participation and sponsorship in Granada 2008 as an online networking liaison and congress sponsor.

Pre- and Post-Congress Certification Programs

Robert P.K. Johnson, SIETAR UK president, is a London-based intercultural consultant and trainer who worked extensively on the programming of the SIETAR Europa Congress in Sofia in 2007.
Leah Davcheva is an intercultural trainer and consultant in Sofia Bulgaria where she heads AHA MOMENTS. Together with Rob Johnson she managed the SIETAR Europa congress in Sofia in 2007.

Website Consultant

Stephan Winiker, Young SIETAR webmaster, Advisor Projects, intetercultural Learning & IT at AFS Switzerland, advises and supports the coordinating team in creating this internet presence.

Conference Photographer

Vanessa Landry-Claverie, member of SIETAR Europa, living in Montreal, who recorded the first SIETAR India Congress and last year's SIETAR Europa Congress in Sofia, will document the Granada events.

Translation Assistance

A native of Barcelons, Mar Jimenez works as a chemist in a biotech in the South East of England, Trained as a translator over the last four years she has actively volunteered to render NGOs documents and websites from English into Spanish.
 
 
 
Global Council

SIETAR Global is the umbrella organisation for all local, national, regional and special-interest SIETARs and is the coordinating body for the Granada Conference.
