  • SIETAR India established
    "Our inaugural congress in August generated such energy and participation. Our profession will be making a real contribution to cultural dialogue and international affairs in India" says SIETAR India president Sreemathi Ramnath.
  • SIETAR Middle East launched
    A regional SIETAR is being launched. Adbulhamied Alromaithy is co-ordinating efforts. "2006 was an exciting year of preparation and 2007 will be our true birth", he says "and volunteers are welcome".
  • Europe-based NGO activities
    Jonathan Levy (SIETAR France) is coordinating and promoting NGO projects with SIETAR members' involvement.
